Not Good Enough:

How to Reverse This Negative Belief and Feel Better About Yourself

Course Summary

  • No one is harder on us than ourselves, and your greatest critic is the person looking back at you in the mirror every morning. It is because that person looking back at you has a history, and what is included in that history is affecting your life now. If you grew up in a dysfunctional or abusive family, or had highly critical and judgmental parents, it's hard to believe that you're a good and worthwhile person. If the people who supposedly love you indicate by word or deed that you don’t measure up or aren’t good enough, you take it to heart. You internalize that message, and it becomes a part of who you are, and how you relate to others for the rest of your life.

  • Even though our rational, practical adult selves no longer want to believe all the limiting and damaging things we learned and experienced as children, on some level those stinging words and hurt feelings are still alive and well. If they have remained unresolved over the years, they are certain to rise back up and bite you during your divorce. Spouses are good at zeroing in on weak points, and if one of yours is the belief you are not good enough, no doubt he or she has used that against you, both during your marriage and subsequent divorce. It is one more hit to your self esteem when you are struggling with all the issues that must now be addressed.

  • You must get over this belief if you are to get beyond the pain of the divorce and create a new and satisfying life for yourself in the future. This short mini course is intended to help you do that. It deals with a single common aspect of divorce and is preliminary to diving deeper into other more complex divorce issues covered  in depth in the “Single Again” course.

What can you expect to gain from the course?

It will help you:

  • Change your negative belief about yourself
  • Improve your self esteem
  • Shift your mental programming
  • Give you a greater sense of empowerment
  • Free yourself from being influenced by the negative opinions and judgment of others
  • Be more optimistic about your options and what you can do
  • Lean how to use EFT and to keep your emotions under control

Judith Albright

My passion is helping others live the best life possible by teaching them how to use the power of their subconscious mind to rid themselves of negative thinking and sabotaging beliefs that hold them back and limit what they can be and do.

It is interesting where life leads us. When I was younger I naively thought that life progressed in a straightforward linear fashion. I once believed that, just like wine, relationships only got better with age, until I went through a contentious divorce. I also thought that each job would be better and pay more money than the last, until I found myself stalled out in ill-suited jobs I ended up hating. At one point I even convinced myself that I had things under control, but that was a laugh because “life” had different ideas. My life started taking all sorts of interesting twists and turns, certainly not in a straight line or all of them forward. I spent a lot of energy living a life I didn’t want, so I know how it feels to want to be or do something different but without any idea of how to make that happen.

It was in my quest to change my own life that I discovered that the secret to success (for anything) lies in the power of the mind. If we are genuinely going to make lasting changes it must happen at the subconscious level, literally from the inside out. It was this change of thinking and a desire to make a career change that led me to pursue advanced training for the energy healing techniques I use today that include EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) PSYCH-K® and The Emotion Code. What my clients say about the effectiveness of this work speaks for itself.

For more than 14 years I have had a private stress management practice in Ft. Collins, CO. During that time, I have seen firsthand the fallout from living a stressful, unfulfilled and unhappy life and the toll that can take on the human psyche. As a result, I am dedicated to teaching others how to get past their own self-imposed mental limitations and create a better life for themselves.

Both a teacher and a lifelong learner, my formal education includes a BFA from the University of Denver, an MA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and additional graduate work at the University of Phoenix in Denver. My work experience includes teaching college level courses at community colleges and vocational schools in the Denver area, and a long career in Corporate America.
